Retention and plan limits

Storage, delivery, management operations, conversions, and seats have separate limits. Each limit stops only the action that consumes it.

Storage and deletion

Current files, retained revisions, and active upload reservations count toward storage. At 100%, new uploads return 413 storage_quota_exceeded. Deleting a revision removes its original bytes and cached transforms. Deleting the final revision also removes the file identity.

Delivery and management limits

Delivery usage measures successful file responses from stable or revision-specific URLs. Each successful response uses its actual size or 64 KB, whichever is larger. Failed, blocked, and HEAD requests do not count. Analytics continue to show the actual bytes served. Management operations are authenticated dashboard and REST API actions.

Usage thresholds

  • 50%: usage is visible with no restriction.
  • 80%: the workspace is warned so an owner can upgrade or enable extra usage.
  • 100%: the workspace follows its selected rule. It can stop, throttle, require an upgrade, or continue with paid usage up to an owner-defined monthly safety cap.
Plan revision windows are published policy, but automatic revision expiry is not active yet. Revisions remain until they are deleted manually.
