Security and storage

Scanning, upload policy, and storage accounting are part of the normal file workflow.

Upload policies

A bucket can restrict maximum upload size, allowed MIME prefixes, and allowed filename extensions. SteadyLink compares declared content with detected bytes before a file becomes a revision. A policy block does not create a deliverable file.

Malware scanning

Uploads are finalized, scanned by ClamAV, and marked clean or blocked. Clean-delivery policy can prevent pending, failed, or infected revisions from being served. A blocked revision cannot be promoted.

Storage totals

The sidebar storage indicator includes current files, retained revisions, and active upload reservations. Open it to sort buckets by size, inspect each file, and compare the current revision with total retained storage.

Workspace defaults

Workspace administrators can choose default visibility, clean-delivery requirements, and the dashboard theme from Workspace Settings.
