One table, values only

CSV stores a single table of plain values. Only one sheet is exported, formulas are saved as their calculated results, and formatting, charts, and comments are dropped. Split multi-sheet XLSX files first if you need every sheet.

What happens to my other sheets and formulas?

A CSV file holds one table, so only one sheet is exported. Formulas are saved as their calculated values.

Is the XLSX to CSV converter free?

How long are my files kept?

Guest uploads and results are deleted automatically after 1 hour. Conversions stay temporary when you are signed in too, unless you save a result to your workspace.

Can I get a permanent link to the CSV file?

Yes. Save the result to a SteadyLink workspace and it gets a stable link. If you make a new version later, replace the file and the link stays the same.
