A QR code on a table, a flyer, or a shop window is printed once. If it points to a SteadyLink, you can change the menu or price list behind it as often as you like.
Every place above uses the same link, so all of them open the live file.
The problem
Printed links go stale
Most QR codes and shared links point to one specific file. When prices change, you either reprint everything or let people read the old numbers.
Rate cards sent to brands or wholesale buyers have the same problem: last quarter's PDF keeps getting forwarded.
How SteadyLink fixes it
Point everything at one file identity
Upload the menu, price list, or rate card once and use its SteadyLink in your QR code, website, and profiles. Replace the file when prices change. Nothing printed needs to change.
Swap the file, keep the code
Any QR code made from your SteadyLink keeps working after every replacement.
Schedule a price change
Queue the new list to go live on the date it takes effect.
Roll back if needed
Restore the previous version from its revision history in a couple of clicks.
Count the scans
Views and traffic sources show how often the menu is opened and from where.
Set it up in three steps.
01
Upload the current list
Add your menu, price list, or rate card as a PDF or image.
pricing / menu.pdf
02
Share and print the link
Use the link on your website and profiles, and generate a QR code from it with any QR tool.
cdn.steadylink.io/a/menu
03
Replace when prices change
Upload the new version. Every code and link now opens it.
SteadyLink gives you the stable link. Use any QR code generator to turn that link into a code. Because the link never changes, the code never needs to be regenerated.
Can I prepare next season's menu in advance?+
Yes. You can schedule a replacement so the new file goes live at a set time, and roll back to the previous version if needed.
Can people view the menu without downloading anything?+
PDFs and images open in the browser from the link. Visitors can still download a copy if they want one.
What happens to the old file when I replace it?+
It becomes a retained revision. The link serves the new file, and you can look at or restore earlier revisions from the dashboard. The Free plan keeps revisions for 30 days and paid plans keep them longer.
Do I need a paid plan?+
No. The Free plan includes public stable links, 2 GB of storage, and up to 3 collections. Paid plans add private and signed links, more storage, and longer revision history.
