Solutions for creators

Fix the worksheet. Not every link to it.

Course downloads live in lesson pages, welcome emails, community posts, and student bookmarks. SteadyLink lets you correct a file once and have every one of those links serve the fix.

The problem

One typo, twelve places to update

You spot a mistake in the Module 3 workbook after launch. The PDF is attached to a lesson, linked from an email sequence, and pinned in your community.

Re-uploading means a new URL on each platform, and students who saved the old link keep getting the version with the mistake.

How SteadyLink fixes it

Correct it once

Host each lesson file in SteadyLink and use its link wherever students find it. When you revise the file, upload the new version and every link serves the update.

Replace without breaking lessons

The file link in your course platform keeps working after the replacement.

Schedule a new edition

Queue a replacement to go live at a set time, such as the start of a new cohort.

Earlier versions stay available

Restore a previous revision if a change needs to be undone.

See which files are used

Download counts per file show which materials students actually open.

Set it up in three steps.

  1. 01

    Upload lesson files

Add worksheets, slides, templates, and PDFs. Group them by module in folders or a collection.

    course / module-3 / workbook.pdf

  2. 02

    Link them in your course

Paste each file link into lesson pages, emails, and community posts.

    cdn.steadylink.io/a/module-3-workbook

  3. 03

    Revise when needed

Upload the corrected file. Students opening any of those links get the new version.

Questions

Scheduling replacements
Does this work with my course platform?

Any platform that lets you add a link or embed a file URL can use a SteadyLink. You keep teaching where you already teach and host the downloads here.

Can I limit downloads to paying students?

Paid plans support private files with time-limited signed links. For simple cases, a password-protected collection keeps casual visitors out.

Can I convert slides to PDF before sharing?

Yes. The built-in converter turns PPTX, DOCX, and other office files into PDF, and you can save the result to your workspace.

What happens to the old file when I replace it?

It becomes a retained revision. The link serves the new file, and you can look at or restore earlier revisions from the dashboard. The Free plan keeps revisions for 30 days and paid plans keep them longer.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. The Free plan includes public stable links, 2 GB of storage, and up to 3 collections. Paid plans add private and signed links, more storage, and longer revision history.
