Why does my converted book have odd line breaks?
A PDF stores text in fixed positions on each page. Turning that into flowing text can split paragraphs at old page or column boundaries, especially in complex layouts.
Is the PDF to MOBI converter free?
Yes. Without an account you can convert up to 10 files a day, 2 at a time, up to 25 MB each. A free account adds monthly conversion credits and larger files.
How long are my files kept?
Guest uploads and results are deleted automatically after 1 hour. Conversions stay temporary when you are signed in too, unless you save a result to your workspace.
Can I get a permanent link to the MOBI file?
Yes. Save the result to a SteadyLink workspace and it gets a stable link. If you make a new version later, replace the file and the link stays the same.
