Why is my TXT empty?
The PDF is probably a scan, which contains pictures of text rather than text. Those pages have nothing to extract.
Is the PDF to TXT converter free?
Yes. Without an account you can convert up to 10 files a day, 2 at a time, up to 25 MB each. A free account adds monthly conversion credits and larger files.
How long are my files kept?
Guest uploads and results are deleted automatically after 1 hour. Conversions stay temporary when you are signed in too, unless you save a result to your workspace.
Can I get a permanent link to the TXT file?
Yes. Save the result to a SteadyLink workspace and it gets a stable link. If you make a new version later, replace the file and the link stays the same.
