WebP image
A modern web image format with lossy, lossless, and transparent modes.
Best for smaller website images and modern browsers.
JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with a solid background. Add your files, convert them in one batch, and download each JPG directly.
The converter runs in your browser and an isolated processing queue. Nothing to install, and every upload is scanned for malware before it is processed.

WebP to JPG
What changes in the file, and what to check before you share the result.
WebP can hold transparent areas, but JPG cannot. Transparent pixels are filled with a solid background, so logos and cut-outs will sit on a box. Keep the WebP if you need the transparency.
An animated WebP contains several frames. JPG holds a single image, so the result is a still picture rather than an animation.
Some editors, email clients, print services, and upload forms do not accept WebP. JPG is supported almost everywhere.
Open the converter settings to set an output width and quality for every JPG in the batch. Leave the width empty to keep the original dimensions.
WebP files can be lossy or lossless and may contain transparency or animation.
Short answers about limits, privacy, and keeping the converted file.

No. JPG stores one image, so an animated WebP becomes a still. Static WebP files convert normally.
Mostly compatibility. WebP is efficient on the web, but some editors, print services, and upload forms still require JPG.
