Works where HEIC does not

HEIC is the default photo format on recent iPhones, but many websites, upload forms, and Windows apps still reject it. PNG removes that obstacle while keeping the photo's dimensions.

Lossless output, same detail

PNG does not add compression artifacts of its own, but it cannot restore detail that HEIC compression already removed. Expect a larger file with the same visible quality.

Resize in the same step

Why do some sites reject my HEIC photos?

HEIC support is uneven outside Apple devices. Many browsers, upload forms, and older programs only accept formats such as JPG and PNG, so converting to PNG lets you upload the photo anywhere that accepts PNG.

Will converting HEIC to PNG improve quality?

No. The PNG looks the same as the HEIC. It is useful when you need to edit the image repeatedly without adding more compression, or when a program requires PNG.

How long are my files kept?

Yes. Save the result to a SteadyLink workspace and it gets a stable link. If you make a new version later, replace the file and the link stays the same.
