Works where HEIC does not

HEIC is the default photo format on recent iPhones, but many websites, upload forms, and Windows apps still reject it. BMP removes that obstacle while keeping the photo's dimensions.

Lossless output, same detail

BMP does not add compression artifacts of its own, but it cannot restore detail that HEIC compression already removed. Expect a larger file with the same visible quality.

Expect a large file

BMP is usually stored without compression, so the result is much larger than the source. Use it when a program specifically asks for BMP.

Resize in the same step

Why do some sites reject my HEIC photos?
