Why do some sites reject my HEIC photos?
HEIC support is uneven outside Apple devices. Many browsers, upload forms, and older programs only accept formats such as JPG and PNG, so converting to WebP lets you upload the photo anywhere that accepts WebP.
Is the HEIC to WebP converter free?

How long are my files kept?
Guest uploads and results are deleted automatically after 1 hour. Conversions stay temporary when you are signed in too, unless you save a result to your workspace.
Can I get a permanent link to the WebP file?
Yes. Save the result to a SteadyLink workspace and it gets a stable link. If you make a new version later, replace the file and the link stays the same.
