What happens to images and tables?
Images are dropped and table contents become plain lines of text. TXT is best when you need the words for search, scripts, or data processing.
Is the ODT to TXT converter free?
Yes. Without an account you can convert up to 10 files a day, 2 at a time, up to 25 MB each. A free account adds monthly conversion credits and larger files.
How long are my files kept?
Guest uploads and results are deleted automatically after 1 hour. Conversions stay temporary when you are signed in too, unless you save a result to your workspace.
Can I get a permanent link to the TXT file?
Yes. Save the result to a SteadyLink workspace and it gets a stable link. If you make a new version later, replace the file and the link stays the same.
