Vector artwork becomes pixels

SVG describes shapes, so it stays sharp at any size. PNG stores a fixed grid of pixels. Set an image width in the converter settings that matches where the PNG will be used, because enlarging it later will blur it.

How do I control the size of the PNG?

Open the converter settings and enter an image width. Pick the largest size you need, because a PNG cannot be enlarged later without losing sharpness.

Is the SVG to PNG converter free?

How long are my files kept?

Guest uploads and results are deleted automatically after 1 hour. Conversions stay temporary when you are signed in too, unless you save a result to your workspace.

Can I get a permanent link to the PNG file?

Yes. Save the result to a SteadyLink workspace and it gets a stable link. If you make a new version later, replace the file and the link stays the same.
