SVG vector
An XML-based vector format that scales without losing sharpness.
Best for logos, diagrams, and responsive interface graphics.
Turns scalable SVG artwork into a fixed-size BMP image. Add your files, convert them in one batch, and download each BMP directly.
The converter runs in your browser and an isolated processing queue. Nothing to install, and every upload is scanned for malware before it is processed.

Best for logos, diagrams, and responsive interface graphics.
A simple bitmap format that stores raster graphics with minimal processing.
Best for legacy Windows workflows and uncompressed interchange.
SVG to BMP
What changes in the file, and what to check before you share the result.
SVG describes shapes, so it stays sharp at any size. BMP stores a fixed grid of pixels. Set an image width in the converter settings that matches where the BMP will be used, because enlarging it later will blur it.
SVG can hold transparent areas, but BMP cannot. Transparent pixels are filled with a solid background, so logos and cut-outs will sit on a box. Keep the SVG if you need the transparency.
BMP is usually stored without compression, so the result is much larger than the source. Use it when a program specifically asks for BMP.
Open the converter settings to set an output width and quality for every BMP in the batch. Leave the width empty to keep the original dimensions.
Short answers about limits, privacy, and keeping the converted file.
Open the converter settings and enter an image width. Pick the largest size you need, because a BMP cannot be enlarged later without losing sharpness.
No. BMP has no alpha channel, so transparent areas are filled with a solid color. Convert to PNG or WebP instead if you need to keep transparency.
Yes. Without an account you can convert up to 10 files a day, 2 at a time, up to 25 MB each. A free account adds monthly conversion credits and larger files.
Guest uploads and results are deleted automatically after 1 hour. Conversions stay temporary when you are signed in too, unless you save a result to your workspace.
Yes. Save the result to a SteadyLink workspace and it gets a stable link. If you make a new version later, replace the file and the link stays the same.
Each category has its own converter, format list, and common routes.
